Not fit for human consumption

Very little food on the buffet for as busy as they were, not much food other then rice was put on buffet, the young man took the plate from under my fiancé even tho she still had food on her plate and eating it. The young kid also made sure to ask the table behind us how their food was and if they were ready for the ticket. We USE to go here atleast once a month but wont be for a very long time. Rude rude rude. Actually rating -5 stars

Very good quality Chinese food for a small town restaurant.

They don’t understand the concept of buffet there’s hardly any food when I go in for lunch even if the parking lot is empty there is still hardly any food out. Won’t be going back for a while if at all I would rather drive to Marion or Cedar Rapids where I know there will be food out and/or enough for an actual meal.

They have a nice buffet or you can order from the menu. If you want a beer with your lunch or dinner, you can do that too. They have great service!

We just moved to the area so this was our first time here and we found the service to be very good. Food was decent....orange chicken didn't have much of an orange flavor....it had a great flavor but not orange. My husband didn't like the fact that the soda wasn't fountain soda but canned soda. The restaurant was hot: the air conditioning needed turned down as it was very stuffy. Staff were excellent, professional but friendly.

Good Chinese food for the Anamosa area. Small buffet but perfect size for the community around it. Great location and plenty of parking. Seating inside can fit a large party as well as just a single person. Soda is served in warm cans but given a glass of ice. Basic Chinese buffet offerings. Still what they serve is quite good.

Food was ok. Service was bad. I had to get their attention every time I needed a refill. And they weren't even busy. I will not go back or recommend this place.

Had lunch today with a friend. We got the dinner for two and thoroughly enjoyed the abundance of good, the exceptional customer service, and will enjoy the leftovers in the fridge for supper. If you like hot and sour soup, this place does a nice version with lots of goodies and fried noodles on the side.

The food was not good at all. Soda comes from a can. The place is small and dark, the staff was friendly that's the only saving grace. I don't recommend this place.

The garlic shrimp is the beast I've ever had. Lunch menu is a huge portion with crab Rangoon or egg roll...very affordable & fast for pickup orders. In house buffet is also good

Nice little hometown Chinese restaurant. Great buffet for a low price. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault.

My brother and I went for​ the lunch buffet. The food was only a little warm. I sat and waited for a refill on my iced tea. When they didn't come to the table, I refilled it myself. A few minutes later they came to the table and asked my brother if he would like another can of Pepsi. He had not even opened the can he had.. hahaha! I have been coming here for 20 years, but it's not the same. Bad service, no hot food.

I love bamboo garden, it is by far my favorite Chinese restuarant. Always super nice people working. I love the buffet option they have. All the food is great. Nice inside environment. Never gets too loud even with alot of people in there.

My favorite Chinese place. Really the only reason I go to anamosa anymore. Even if the town changes the food here stays the same. Some of the best crab rangoons, egg rolls, and sesame chicken I've ever had. Even though I don't live as close anymore I still go out of my way to go here. Friends and family members reminisce about all the meals we have had hear. I've brought many friends here over the years and they have all been impressed. Can't wait to go back.

The best Chinese around without having to go to cedar rapids or Iowa City food is always on par and the staff is excellent they make sure you're taking care of fresh canned pop nice calm atmosphere.. I would give this place as food 8 out of 10 thank you guys.

Good food...buffet with old cold items and empty pans...they need to stay up on buffet supply and demand. Huge FLY issue here !

Good selection for a smaller buffet. Food was warm and very good. Tuesday is free soft drinks with purchase.

Buffet was about empty. They brought a couple things but not worth the wait. Had to park far away and walk thru mud puddles too.

The place was fairly busy, but the buffet kept running out of food. They most definitely were not keeping anything fresh. There's soda was served in cans so if you wanted to refill you had to pay for it. And that's okay, I'm just used to free refills on sodas. Quality of food was not great either.

Stopped in for a quick dinner. Food was hot and tasty. Staff was very accommodating and helpful about the menu.

Excellent food. I like ordering off the menu best but Jeff loves the buffet. Been going to Bamboo Garden for years and have never had a bad meal! Very affordable and good every time! I come here at least 4X a month!

They always have good food and friendly people. It is always a good place to visit.
